Hiya. molting is a procees birds go through this is when old feathers fall out and new ones are grown it can take anywhere from 1-9months to complete the cycle.

The chance's of your birds breeding is good providing the following is done,

1 They are given cuttlefish bone and vitamin block.

2 They get atleast 10hours of light.

3 the room is kept warm at all times.

4 Provide them with soft foods such as pasta whole wheat bread boiled eggs mashed up egg food which is specially made for hand feeding and weaning chicks you can get this from any petstore.

5 A nest box is place either inside the cage or attatched to the outside.

I would also just like to add are you prepared for babies as some birds neglect there chicks and some even kill them.
Have you researched the birds about they breeding cycle and about egg binding.

Egg binding can be fatal to the female bird if this is not detected and treat ASAP.
Hope this has helped answer your questions.

Mike.
