Hello everyone, im buying a budgie and was wondering which room sounds better to place its cage? Area1-Small bedroom with not very loud tv, quiet, good amount of natural light from covered window but people only visit in morning and all evening, warm Area2-Near loud appliances (dishwasher, laundry washer/dryer tv, stereo and computer) Alot of people visit all day, open to kitchen lots of windows, most covered, fairly cool open to almost whole house if let out which room would be better? Please let me know and why. Thank you all VERY much! IP: Logged |

Hi there the room you and your family are in is the best room to have your bird in this way he/she can see and interact with the whole family. Mike. IP: Logged |

neither place you dont want them in a place where it is very loud (kitchen). and not a room that is extremely quiet (bedroom). do you have a tv room where your family watches tv but there is still not loud? my birds are out in the living room during the day (sometime i leave them in my room) and at night in my room where it is warm. i would go with mike's suggestion. -kyle IP: Logged |

Kitchens are not safe for birds due to the fact some saucepans are made with teflon which is highly toxic to birds so a kitchen should be avoided i used to have my birds in the living room so they had the tv and my company all the time. mike IP: Logged |

My birds are in a room where we (family) come in most of the time and its not that noisy (but they are) and they aren't that human interative but they have enough intration because there are 6 of them. But I do take a couple of them out at a time to fly and strech their wings but they have to stay in that one room. IP: Logged |

Yes, thank you all very much for letting me know! I will keep them in my family room, away from the kitchen during the day and in my warm room at night. Thank you all very much! IP: Logged |
