What colours and age are the budgies. If they are male and female then u will eventually have eggs but if you dont want them to hatch your simply remove the eggs boil them mark them with a number allow them to cool and place back with the hen and allow her to sit them. Never just remove the eggs as for every egg you remove she will lay another one to replace the one lost and this can be serious as with each clutch of eggs laid her calcium levels depleats. hey, Well one was born in 04(on the tag) and i got her 1 month ago and that kiwi she has all her stripes on her head and her cere is light purple. my other bird shelby was born some time in 03 and she has lost most her head lines and her cere is more dark purple just alittle more than kiwi. Kiwi is fady green and yellow. And shelbie is a pied with white and yellow body stripes and a blue patch on her stomach.I can seem too add pictures. but i hope its good enough description. kyle IP: Logged |

Hiya Males will have a purplish cere until around 6months of age then it can either stay that colour or go blue. Females have the same purplish cere until 6months old then there cere will go either cream, white, tan and very dark brown when in breeding mode. But males resemble females until around 6 months of age. Mike IP: Logged |
