My 2yr old dwarf hamster lives alone in a large critter trail cage with tunnels all around. He also has an excersise wheel and we use natural pine shavings with chlorophyll. The problem is, he's grown a tumor on his under-side right behind his front leg.Can anyone help me?Is he going to die soon?

My hamster got a tumor near his eye one time. My mom wouldn't spent extra money at the vet to cure him though, so it eventually died. If you allow the tumor to continue to grow, chances are that he will die much sooner than you'd expect. If you take him to the vet, it will be costly but if you love your dwarf hamster that much you'd do anything to save him
