oscar tank choice help

    I am getting a 29 gallon and i would like to know if i can keep and oscar in there adn for how long he can be suitable in threr?

    a 29 gal is way too small for a Oscar.
    you will need atleast 50 gals per oscar with lots of filtration as oscars are very messy fish.
    To save the stress of moving the fish when it out grows the 29gal, start him off in atleast a 50gal.
    I would not recommend an oscar for your tank.
