well heres a female that is a JK (golden-based flowerhorn) i just picked up from a LFS lastnight. there was a tank of about 5 and i am looking for a female so the worker helped me go through them while i vented all of them, and when i found out this one was a female i decided to get her....she is about 4" tip to tip.... her colors are really washed out right now and i need to start feeding her some hikari red to bring out better colors, but here she is.

as you can see, she is in the middle of fading.....she is also a shortbody which i like.

positive and negative comments are both welcome

nope, she still basically looks the same. it can take JK flowerhorn a few weeks up to a few months to be fully faded....

heres a picture of a fully faded JK flowerhorn from FHUSA posted by 65rivi
