I have 2 juvenile Congo Tetras. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to reach full size?

Ive had 2 female congo tetras for almost 9 months and the have only grown about 1/2 an inch in thet time. They were about an inch long when i bought them.

Wow, I didn't think it took that long. I was thinking maybe 5 or 6 months they'd be at full size.

Any fish will grow quickly in a large tank and with regular water changes. Still others will never reach their full size if confined to a small tank with little water changes. Make sure and provide both and your results will improve.

My Congo's reached 4 inches in about a year, maybe less. Lots of space, lots on water changes, and good quality food are the keys.
