Make sure you get the actual numbers for those test results.

It looks the weather is freezing out there. But that should not affect the goldfish because it is a coldwater fish. I hope you did let the tank settle with the equipment switched on for a week first before adding any fish. What you can do as for now to save the fish is:
    a) add some aquarium salt to neutralize the nitrite in the tank. You can use kitchen salt as long as it is not iodized.
    b) turn the air pump to the max to increase air exchange.

You do realize that this post (and most of the other ones you replied to) is over a year old don't you?

Dear Chelle, when I post I don't look at the date. I just look at the topic that I have knowledge in so that I can share what I know. I bet others do not look at the date too but browse thru the topics that interest them when they want to read the posts, right? As long as the writing is not about current affairs, then it is basically timeless. It can be applicable anytime, in the past, currently or in the future.

As you can see I don't write empty comments like "that's great" etc. For me forums should be practical knowledgebase. Anyway I can't control what others write. I can just to try to write substantially myself.

Thank you for your feedback. Please pardon me if I make you worry. Do contact me again if there is any doubt.
