well last night casey ran after a stick and she hurt her leg or paw and couldn't walk for a couple mins then she had a little bit of a limp then she seemed to be fine. well my dumb* brother threw the ball for her today and she was running and just stopped, yelped and now she is laying at the bottom of the stairs because she can't walk or let anyone move the leg. she is laying there drooling and shaking. How can i comfort her? my dad isn't home yet to take her to the vet.

Even though your dad is not home yet, please call your vet asap and see what they recommend, the drooling and shaking does not sound normal to me for a leg injury. And then call your dad to see if he can come home early

the drooling and shaking could be shock.
I'd be worried that she has a fracture. Please call your vet and parents imdiately.

    she seems fine now

She seems fine now. my dad made her get up and move and she is fine. I think she mostly just scared herself. We picked up all her toys, and we aren't letting her jump on the couch or run around. My old baby sitter is coming over to check her out she knows A LOT about this stuff.

It is nice that she is back in order. good thing you did what you did and you remained calm. there is a funny story about a lady freaking out but. that will be soon to come. later.

    thanks

The woman said it was just a sprain but she can run to the door just fine but then she could walk a couple steps and not be able to walk again. Just stretch it out and shes fine. It seems to be in the knee and it clicks some times when you bend it. We are going to immobilize her back right leg. Any ideas on how to?
