My cat Libby, i hope theres a pic of her in my avitar thing. but she hissed at my grandma and she's hissed at me a few times. I think it might be because we have ripped up the carpet and are getting wood laminent floors but i mean why does she hiss and bite? is she stressed or what? and how do we get it to stop. She's so mean.

:m23: and welcome! Libby is a cutie pie! If she is healthy and has no health problems, it is because of the changes in her environment. She sounds very stressed. Are you able to keep her in a quiet room until the floors are changed over? Bach rescue or Feliway might help her.

well there are no noises any more... we got all the noisy stuff done but no we didn't keep her in any room when we were doing the noisy stuff. I tried to keep her in my room but whenever i went to the bathroom or w/e she would shoot out the door.

Hang in there. Have patience with her. She was probably upset with what is happening in the house. Some kitties can get stressed easily.

My Mittens has gotten stressed and tends to go spastic but she settles some when I talk to her calmly and give her some petting. She is getting older and is calming down some.

    Best of luck. :)

yeah thnx you guys. She seems to be calming down now. We're almost done with the floors. She hasn't hissed that i know of since my grandma left our house.
