Hi. My name is Kira and today I am going to demonstrate how to pet a cat.






First you put your arm up.......






.....then you gotta just lean over and reach really far out......







.....Don't give up, just keep reaching. If you fall over, don't worry one of those nice parents will come and sit us back up.....








I am now touching the cat!









Now just be real gentle and pet the cat on the head. I like to pull the fur really hard, but the cats doesn't seem to like this. See, that wasn't so hard!

Thanks Halaroo, Mary_NH, Eman and Nern. Yes, Eman you are right. She is 6 months old. She will be 7 months on the 20th of April. Mary_NH, I would love to get another cat, but my wife's cat Ink (a.k.a. Mr. Grumpy) is old and would be even more cranky (hard to believe :wink: ) with another cat around. We'll see. You never know.

They are soooo cute Chessmind! You have beautiful kids. It's such a great feeling when the babies (kids and cats or any other pets) get along so well! Pumpkin is a well known grouch in our household but for some strange reason, she adores my infant. Pumpkin looks annoyed in this pic but in reality she is purring in bliss. She loves being petted by my daughter! My baby has a tendency to grab Pumpkin's fur too hard so her petting motions are being controlled, lol.

 

Wow Vene, Lisa is getting so big! She's so cute!

Thank you Halaroo, Sunset, and Chessmind. No, she's not so little anymore, lol. I'd always thought my baby girl would be petite, but not so. :roll: She eats, sleeps, and plays well. She even sleeps better than the cats and the rest of the household. :shock: She averages 10-12 hours of sleep overnight and 2-3 day naps ranging from 20 minutes to 2 hours. She's usually happy and content until she wants to be picked up and then she'll scream Mmmaaamaaaa! :mrgreen:
