Frankie went missing from the backyard on Sun, June 25/06 and has been gone for 9 days now. They let him go out without a leash on which he should of been on one. Frankie is a type of cat that likes to wander around and cannot be trusting outside unattending. Has to be supervise at all times. Was a stray cat before they got him and is use to going outside. It is probably not his first time running away from home. Does have a heart murmur and isn't a very strong cat. I just hope he didn't get hit by a car, they live on a busy street with soo many cars going by. I hope he he's in a safe place and not in a crazy household. Do you guys think he would find his way back home? Did this ever happen to you guys where your kitty went missing? I just hope they get him back home.

July 18th will be 4 years since I last saw my Sessy
I know she became lunch for some wildlife.
It's hard when they go missing like that cause you never know what happened - no closure.
    I hope Frankie returns.

Sorry to hear about your kitty! I hope my aunt/uncle get their Frankie back. I just hope he didn't get hit by a car. There soo much traffic where they live. I will keep you update.

When I was young, my family took in a stray tom cat and every time he would go into heat, he would dissappear for a couple of weeks and then come home again tired and hungry.

chin up, stranger things have happened :)

When I moved I had a cat named Sam, and he snuck out of the house while I wasn't looking. He was missing 2.5 years before some of our old friends found him and couple of neighborhoods over. He came back and was with me for another year and a half.

Good luck finding him. A cat we used to have got out once and went missing for a couple days. We ended up finding him locked in a shed down the road.

Also, I highly recomend getting cats microchipped. Even if they're strictly indoor cats, you never know when they'll slip out. It's apermanant form of ID and most shelters & vets have scanners and cats are scanned at least twice before being put up for adoption or eutanized (if no one comes to claim them). You can put collars & tags on a cat, but they could slip out of them. They'll never lose their microchip.

Yes Frankie is microchip so they know where he lives!

That only happened to me one time. The lawn mower scared my baby at the time and she scatted. About a month later I found out she had been adopted by a family on the next block. They had a 6 year old daughter that was attached to her and I didn't have the heart to take her back. At least I got a happy closure and I hope you do too.
