Hello I just joined today, I have a quick question I have just got a 3 and half week old kitten and she won't drink water from a bowl, although she will eat out of one. I have been putting water in with her wet kitten food to trick her I just don't know if she is getting enough.

    Thanks for any help

first where did you get a 3.5 week old kitten?
I hope it was a rescue situation
she needs KMR if no mother is around.
She probalby won't drink water this young but she needs fluids desperatly. You can get KMR at any good pet store or vet

you'll probalby have to help her eliminate too. She might be fine on her own but just in case you want to be prepared for that

Thank you so much mary I went and got some and a dropper man does she like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Yes she was a rescue her mamma was ran over and my friend gave her to me knowing that I would look after her well even at such a young age. now all I have to do is get my 4 year old to calm down and like her. my oldest guy has accepted her he is around 11 years old, he just ignores her.
    Thanks again

you could also get a good quality canned kitten food and mix some with the KMR to encourage her to start eating wet food. I personally wouldn't offer dry food that young unless it's something like canin babykat cause the kibble is tiny.
And I'd also try to get a stool sample to the vet as soon as you can to check for parasites since you have other cats.
I wouldn't even let her near the other cats until you are 100% sure she doesn't have any diseases or parasites. Feline leuk being a big concern and they can't accurately test for that until around 12 weeks of age.
Good luck....and I hope the baby continues to thrive well and prosper :y_the_best:
