Oh thats great news to hear everything is going so well.

Yes German Shepherds are very loud just wait until they start moving out of the whelping box and start barking and growling for food, You will fin mom will want as much time away from them as possible hahaha.

Congratulations!! Are you going to keep one of the puppies?

 

There is one girl that has taken my eyse. I am ofcourse not able to she right now her character, but she has very thick hair and is big and very strong, fast and goes where she wants, I would like to keap a boy but they have been requested for, I might think about if I let them both go because I lost the third. I would acctually want to keap them all :? I might have to move then to the country, I am acctually thinking about it and start my breeding of Icelandic horses, just as hobby, I am trying to keap my hands of all the advertises of horses but it is difficult. This is the season when foals are going on sale after the summer and too many for sale. Makes the value of them low and easy to buy a good pedigree horse for very little money. I have got my eyse on two stallion in Iceland to breed from,one with the highest scores this summer contest 2006 in 5 year old stallion and one very similar pedigree. with very high score too.

they are so cute, look like they are hungry!

 

I have never seen so cute puppies my self, just like teddybears, and they are hungry all the time and two of them fall asleep on the nipple. then they roll like pregnant sheep. very funny

 

Hi have you now started them on solid food which will take some of the demand of mom.

I feed either canned puppy food mixed with a little puppy milk either whelpi or lactol, Or i give the a complete dried puppy food mixed with puppy milk.

Also i always made up some puppy milk and gave them a shallow bowl of that which is at body temp and they loved it.

They still had access to mum and her to them.

My german shepherd pups were eating 5 meals per day by the time they were 4 weeks old.

You will find that they will eat from mum then go eat tehre food then go back to mam for a drink lol
