Is it ok to put a 3 inch catfish in a 5 gallon tank?

    :?: I want to know because I had 2 catfish and an algae eater in a 5 gallon tank. and one of them died... should I buy a bigger tank?

    There's no way that a five gallon would do for anything but maybe a lonely fighting fish. Your looking at over 100 gallons, and even that would be small, depending on what type of catfish your talking about.

    the catfish died yesterday...

    I don't know what kind of catfish it was but he died yesterday and I got him yesterday :cry:
