I have two dogs, one is 4 years old and the other is 9 months. Dixie my eldest has been using my house as a restroom! She is very well trained, all of a sudden she has been doing the business in the house. During the day our puppy stays in a crate and Dixie gets free roam of the house. What can I do to break her of the nasty habit she has started.

Hi, yousay she suddenly started using the house? I would get her checked by a vet to rule any medical issues like UTis. Things like this commonly cause a dog to use the house as a restroom. 2ne thing it could be the puppy, did she start right after you got the pupppy or did she start later on?

She just started this. Peeing in the house just started, but she has been doing #2 in the house for about a month. We have had the puppy for over six months now.

Mmmm yea first up Id get her checked over for a thorough vet check to rule out any health probs, maybe she is protesting about something, dont take this personally but is the pup getting "More" attention at the moment, you know with being young, she may be highly jealous of the pup, just a thought..
Or shes annoyed at the pups presence... :?:
