your cats are really cute...and Tessie looks sooooooooooo much like my Mini (the white chin and white on paws) and she does the exact same thing! she loves laying on papers or grocery bags.

@ Eman - Wow, Mini does look so much like Tessie, except Tessie doesn't have a tail. You can't see from that pic but she just has a little stump. We don't know what happened as she just turned up on my Mum's doorstep one day looking thin and miserable, so Mum started feeding her and one thing led to another She's currently attempting to 'persuade' my Mum and Dad that she needs access to the spare bed everyday! The vet says maybe she had an accident when she was very young or possibly her previous owners docked her tail.

She's a beaut though and has slowly come to trust them

I love Mini's little white chin, so cute!

LOL. I saw the pics you posted in your first post and thought, "those both look like british shorthairs". Then I looked at your flickr page and lo & behold, they are. I have a blue british shorthair.
