I have a Jack Demsey. I tried putting a Convict in with him but the Convict is mean to him and he killed my female Convict and a Firemouth. Does anyone have any suggestions? I also have a large pacu what can I put with him? I think I can put fish of similar size with pacus but I am not to sure. I know a lot about fish but I can't put anything with my Jack Demsey, Convict, or my smaller Convict!!! I also tried putting a peacock bass in with my smaller convict they were of similar size and the convict killed him!
    Please help me!!!

    How big is your tank?

I hope you're aware of the HUGE size that pacus get. Unless you have about a 500 - 1000 gallon tank (no, that's not a typo), you really should get rid of the pacu, because it will just end up dieing a slow, horrible death in too small of a tank.

I know pacus get big, and I had one before him, he was so big and he would get scared of his shadow. He jumped out and died. He was so big he wouldn't fit in a 5 gallon bucket.
I put my male convict in with the smaller female and they live together peacefully under the same rock.
I put my Jack Demsey all by himself.
I am going to get my pacu a larger tank. I am probably going to get a 265 gallon or a little bit smaller this summer for him.

265 gallons won't be big enough. If it's a red bellied pacu, it will need no less than 300 just for itself. But if you really want to keep it properly, you'll need to keep it in a group of at least 3 (they are social fish and should be kept in groups) wich means you'd need closer to 1000 gallons. If it's a black pacu, you'll need closer to 500 gallons each so a total of 1500 gallons for 3 of them.

Seriously, pacu are not fish that should be kept by 99.9% of fish keepers.
