haven't had a foster since D'Arcy (formerly Billy) went home to Montreal 3 weeks ago. He is doing great BTW although was diagnosed with extreme peridontal disease (most likely genetic due to poor breeding since he's only 11 months old). And Chess...the adopter has stopped wiping his gums with gauze, gone back to his old diet, continued with the lysine paste and D'Arcy is doing well. No more runny stools, he's very playful.
Anyhow---I get bored easily and I am addicted to knitting. When I have a foster added to my pets I'm usually fairly busy and only do easy knitting projects.
So no fosters to take up my extra time I decided to take on my toughest project to date...had the pattern and yarn for years.
    Finally it is finished.
I need fosters...I'm already knitting for Christmas

Beautiful work, Mary_NH. My cats would love to knead on those! Hey, maybe that's what you could give Zeus for his birthday?

Glad D'arcy is doing better. Is the L-Lysine actually helping? If so, I am very surprised.

the lysine is basically only to give his immune system a boost. Since he's probably had this untreated condition since birth his vet feels he probably needs some help to stave off any potential infections which might develop. It's probably not doing much to help his peridontal disease, but the hope is it'll put off any kidney issues that could develop early.
