Hi, hope someone can help me! I am new to keeping a fish tank and hvae some tiger barbs, which are fantastic, very lively and seem to enjoy the tank setup. However, sometimes when they are "chilling" out they sort of hang in the water, nose down, they pick them selves up and start darting around but they do this quite often, hust wandered if this is normal or if anyone els's do this?

    Thanks guys.

I have seen my tiger barbs hang nose down after a meal. They tend to be more bouyant and wont swim around as much after eating. This is part of their normal behavior. They should, however act normally when they haven't eaten.

Tiger barbs nose stand often when at rest, wether they've eaten or not.

The school i had used to do it all the time, and they were perfectly healthy
