Could our puppy have parvo?

Hello, a week ago we got a doberman puppy (after we bought him we found out he was only five weeks. So he's six weeks this past Friday). He was very very playful and then this past Friday he started having diarrhea, but he still ate a little and drank plenty of water. Saturday he ate a little less but we managed to get him to eat some chicken and then a little bit of rice. He is still drinking on his own. But he is awfully emaciated from the diarrhea. He has only thrown up twice, the first time it was just pieces of food and watery liquid. The second time was tonight, but it was just a little bit of pepto-bismol that we gave him for his stomach. He stool smells awful, some of the worst I've ever smelt, and it did have some little drops of blood in it early Saturday. We would have taken him to the vet but we live in a remote area and our two vet offices are sadly closed on the weekends. Of course they have emergency numbers but we are just college students and do not have a lot of money. He is not lethargic, he plays and runs around and climbs up stairs. I'm worried about him, we WILL see a vet Monday regardless but I'm afraid he might not make it. We thought it could be an intestinal parasite like Coccidia or something but we really don't know. We had a case in April where our dachshund got attacked by another dog and because we were not clients to a vet no one would see us and we just did not have the money for an emergency vet :( We were heart broken that she passed away. Please help. It will be greatly appreciated.

    Just a small Update

I've stayed up with him for most of the night worrying myself to death. He has started eating with an appetite again and is still drinking water on his own. He has not thrown up his food or water. Is it just a parasite?

any breeder who would let a 5 week old puppy leave its mother would sell a puppy with any disease.
VET CHECK regardless of your financial situation.
If it's a parasite that is causing him to be that ill he needs deworming right away (I'm thinking coccidia) or if it is parvo he could take a turn for the worse very quickly.
And don't use OTC to deworm.
If you can purchase a dobbie puppy you can pay a vet - IMO
besides you have expenses coming up anyway - first shots, neuter, checkups....might as well set your relationship with the vet now.

Definately needs to see a vet ASAP. Disgusts me people would let a pup leave that early... really angers me.

Defiantely take him to the vet. If it is Parvo, you can see improvements before disaster.
As well as if its intestinal parasites. It can only get worse, and if it is coccidia or hookworms, it can very well be deadly.
