What is the best kind of beginner land-bown turtle. I would also preferably want one that will remain at a fairly small size. I have been researching them and have read that the Eastern box turtle is a good one to start with (it doesnt get large and is fairly hardy). Opinions? If you have had a turtle (or have one) tell me about your experiences and if they are a good pet.
