My yorkie is changing colors

My adorable yorkie (15 lbs) thinks he is as big as a great dane but now he is actually getting hair on his back that is more coarse and RED! He has always had very soft silver baby textured hair. It almost resembles a saddle. Does anyone have any idea what the deal is?

How old is he? Yorkies will change colour in the first two years.

Thats normal for a yorkie. They do have diffrent coat types and once they get older they will loose the puppy fur and grow in an adult coat.
