Wow I'm excited Babies!!!!

    Well I have African Cichlid babies!!!! She let them out of her mouth yesterday when I got her into a small tank by herself..... I have counted 10 they are so adorable!!! Mom is back in her tank so just the babies are in there now..... Pretty exciting to watch them dart around. They are becoming more confident swimming around being more visible. Looking forward to watching them grow up. Guess I'll have to contact a local fish place see if they will take them when they are bigger

    Well she is a red zebra cichlid I believe.....and I took the deco's out of the tank and counted them and there are 14 of them!! :eek: all are doing well eating good getting more comfortable swimming around being visible.... I have tried to take pictures but they are soo small it's hard to get a good one...

    Baby fish are the cutest! I am surprised how attached I have become to my kids baby guppies-they are pretty much mine now! How big are chiclid babies? They sounded fascinating when I looked them up.

    Well when she let them out of her mouth they were about less than a half inch they are about a half inch long now..... they really are adorable they now know that when I open the top they are getting fed so they all come to the top!!!! :eek: :lol:
