HELP!!!my odg dosnt listen to me!

    HELP PLEASE!! i let my dog outside and he doesnt come to my call he just runs off and barks.i tell him NO but he still doesnt listen. :| .and in the morning he barks CONSTANTLY! i tell him NO and SHHH..but he just still doesnt listen!!:(so then i take him out (and it like 530 in the morning)and he runs off and plays.we dont live in a fenced area though.we have to muchproptery to put one up.so there goes that idea.PLEASE HELP!!:(.THANK YOU![/quote]

    don't let him outside - take him outside on a leash.
    take some time to teach him to "come"
    you can google teaching him that. It's not very hard and could save his life in the end

    Sounds like you need do some positive obedience training. Can your dog sit and stay on command? Thats a start.
    For recall you need a long 20' lead, a rope will do. Let your dog out to the end of the rope then give the command (your dogs name) COME. If he doesn't respond pull him back by the rope and then give him a treat. The reward is very important. You may be surprised at how quickly your dog learns.
    Also to get your dog to pay attention you must use the Nothing In Life Is Free concept. This means your dog must obey your command before recieving anything including food, treats or affection. A simple sit will do before you feed your dog.
