Im learning and have learnt so much about the pitball, and the Amstaff breed, some say that there is no difference, alot of people say your dog is a PIT..

Here she is as a pup...

And here she is full grown.........

Its amazing and sad how much that a piece of breeding paper separates the breed now..I know of a case that's battling right now in Queensland of a pure bred Staff, and this was a gorgeous staff, on DEATH row because the bloodlines go back to the Pit ball..And the Owners didn't have papers to separate the breed..They are winning, and hopefully soon the dog will be set free, but its lost time with the owners and the dog they love so badly..
But in the end of it all its the irresponsible owners that DON'T have a clue on how to bring these type of dogs up. YES they are a strong, protective breed of dog, but in the right hands they are the most Loyal, loving, gorgeous family member that you could ever wish for..

Without my papers...QUOTE QUOTE, She would be banned and destroyed
    Sad ..

    I LOVE them..

    Beautiful dog!!!!

Yes it is a great shame what BSL does. Especially the stupid ways about it, all Staffs go back to "Pit Bulls" (American Pit Bull Terriers), so I don't see the point. The whole breeding paper yes it is ridiculous. If my dog is registered as an APBT bad dog, if registered as AST ok dog. I wonder about dual registered dogs.

Protective isn't one of the characteristics, not that protective ones don't exist. I think that is really the sad thing about it, they were not bred for protection or guard work and most are typically very social yet they are seen as such a dangerous breed. When in the right or most common temperament for an AST/APBT they are far from it.
