My distressing sad news

Hi, i need assistance please, Fagan was out of the cage on New Years Day, got spooked and took off, i don't think he meant to, but I think the wind caught him and took him. I am sooooo worried and sick to the stomach, he's an indoor bird, much loved and missed. We have also have had the most violent of storms and wind, so i have no idea where to even start to look for him. I have left his cage out in the open with food etc, i have also put out flyers, but i feel so helpless i don't know where to start. Has anybody any ideas what i can do to try and find my "boy". I miss him so much.

Hi i am sorry to hear about your sad news.
He may just turn up, But i do not want to say this but chances are he will not have made it.
Wild birds are a threat to him aswell as not being able to fend for himself.

I would keep asking around, check all local vet offices and ask them if they could pass it on to other offices in different countys.

I really hope he turns up safe and well.

I know what you are syaing is the truth, about the chances of him finding his way home, but i just cannot make the transition that he's no longer here. My heart tells me he's out there somewhere lonley and scared. My head tells me something else. I'm sick to the stomach worrying about him. It's so hard.!!!!

I really feel for you and i hope he is somewhere safe.
All you can do is pray and keep asking around someone may hopefully have found him and taken in him.

Please let me know if he returns

    I've got great news

    Hi Mike

Great news i wrote to you regarding the disappearance of Fagan on New Year's day. I got him back!!!! A lady had found him on the 3rd of Jan in her garden, her son advertised him rather late, and on a web site that i found purely by chance - i was looking for a breeder which i never needed before coz i got Fagan from a pet shop, anyway i found this web site, saw it had a link for lost/found pets, though i would put his details on there, saw a article and when i phoned the son told me that it matched the bird they found, i went through and there was this bird in a small cage, i called to him and it went beserk in the cage, and i knew then and there that this was my "baby". The family who had him looked after him and he is in nice conditon. Obviously he is a little traumatized but i think with a bit of TLC he'll come back to the Fagan i knew (he's skittish at the moment).

That is great news, glad he back home safe where he belongs.
I am sure like you say with plenty of TLC he will get back to his old self..

Its times like this it shows never to give up hope.
