Anyone heard of this new cichlid?

    Bought a couple of new cichlids from my dealer and I tried to look them up on the internet but can't find them....
    Scarlet Snakeskin is what he called them....
    I'll try and get some pictures of them and post....
    They are pinkish orange and have some white on the belly as well. One of them is mostly orange/pink

    I know a few species of Cichlid come in the snakeskin pattern like the Discus and Flowerhorn. I think it's more the coloration that he's referring than the actual name of the cichlid.

    Can't wait to see the pictures, they sound gorgeous!

    Here are some pictures kinda rough on the orange one didn't want to stay still :mrgreen:

    Has alot of pink on bottom fins and goes more pink/orange towards speckled tail fins.

    This one is more orange/pink but still has the same color towards tail fins but is def not a red zebra... fins, body are all different.
