By products, preservatives, artificial additives..

I am currently feeding my little girl a "premium" kibble. I switched her from the low quality kibble she was beeing fed at breeder's. But I was shocked when I compared the ingredients...virtually the same. Both full of preservatives, chemicals, fillers, by products, articial colors and flavoring.... I have discovered "human grade" dog foods. They are, of course, more expensive. But I cant find any of the brands I like near me. I would have to order directly. I am also considering home cooked meals. She is going to vet on saturday. I will discuss both "human grade" and home cooked meals...ONLY THE BEST FOR MY EMPRESS!!

 

I've heard that there are salmonella infections on dog foods recently. Does anyone have copies of Salmonella related articles on dog foods?
