I'm so excited. I'll post picture of Tony this weekend.

Tony was plucked off the streets of Boston this past week. He's approx. 2 years old, being neutered this morning, and on his way to NH's White Mtns. Saturday morning.

I'm so excited. He's a sealpoint and I understand is very friendly and loving.

Can't wait to share his pix with you.

I must have forgotten to post about that case....I got a phone call from the owner last Saturday. I was watching my niece's 2 yr. old son and 4 month old baby so I just wasn't thinking at the time of the phone call (kinda had my hands and mental capacity on overload)...she PUT THEM BOTH DOWN.

I think she just used me to find a vet who would do what she wanted to be done. And the thing that really killed me was there was absolutely nothing wrong with the 14 yr. old meezer and space was opening up this week in siamese rescue - that cat would have been next on the list to be accepted. I begged this woman to hold of on doing anything with the 14 yr. old but she went ahead and had the cat PTS. I was very upset and I couldn't think of anything to say when she called me to tell me - I had a 2 yr. old hanging off my leg and a 4 month old in my arms and my jaw hitting the floor.

I know it's her cat to call the shots with but I was just so disappointed she wouldn't even wait a couple of weeks to get this cat into rescue - she just had her put down. And I know if I put down 2 cats I'd had for 16 and 14 years I'd be barely able to speak...when she called me she said she'd just had them put down and her voice was extremely steady.

    I think I was used.

Hi Mary_NH. I don't remember this story. Will you tell it again from the start up until the phone call. Please.
