if you had a choice...would you clone your kitty? i tried to make this into a poll, but i cant figure out how to do it.

no....as much as I adore and love my cats there are far too many out there that are in dire need of homes. Why clone when we have such a problem with overpopulation of cats and kittens?

Cloning cats and dogs would only add to the stress on our already filled shelters. Imagine how many puppies, kittens, dogs and cats would be put to sleep cause there would be people cloning their existing pets instead of adopting.

I would clone vene because we never got to say good-bye and I would still adopt more kitties from shelters. For the perfect cat, I would clone Monty Boy and slip in a skinny gene.

I agree with Mary--as tempting as it would be to clone my best friend, there are too many homeless kitties out there. A clone would only be the genetic copy of kitty, so there's no guarantee he or she would have the same personality as the original.

I have the same thoughts as Mary. It really would be tempting though.

I would only clone my cat is she was about to die or had health issues or something.....but other than that, no..I'd just adopt a kitty from a local shelter or something. I love my cat to pieces, but she's a handful..I don't know if I could put up with two XD

I would have cloned oreo when my dad and step-mom split up (which I thank the lord for every day) but then again i might not have after reading the above points, I can see him on her webcam alot.
