HELP!!!-my sick kitty

my parents are gone to wyoming until next thursday or friday and my cat is sick ...he hasn't been eating...he weezes when he breathes...he just lays around and wont move very much...and his heart is beating kinda fast...he just acts and looks icky
we gave him a shot of penicilin yesterday and today...what else can i do...i wish i could take him to the vet but my parents are gone :cry: ....anyone have any idea what it is?...HELP!!!

Hi. I'm sorry about your kitty. I'm not sure how old you are, but if there is someone taking care of you, then have them take your kitty to the vet. You can call your parents and have them give you their credit card # to pay for the vet visit. I hope you find a way to get your kitty to the vet.

 

hi elfing...who gave the kitty a shop of penicillin? do you have someone staying with you while your parents are gone?

 

Hang in there. My cat is very sick and no one knows what to do!! I'm waiting for responces! I feel the same. I'll check up on you and you'll be in my prayers!

Hey I hope your kitty is feeling better. You just hang in there! My kitty is some what better but worse at the same time. Just remember that if you see sores or scars or infection to wipe with warm towel. The key to heling is :kiss_heart: love!

yeah my kitty died. :cry: :cry: :cry: ...the morning after i posted this...well he is better now...and not in pain...thanks for your concern

 

I'm sory for your loss. How old are you? Did you even bother to take him to the vet? Maybe his death could have been prevented. You have to not only worry and ask advice but act and follow that advice.

 

lol thanks lynnhaz! i too am concerned. i have a sneaking suspicion [now this is just a suspicion not an accusation so no one go off at me here] that people are using the 'im just a kid' excuse too much lately. how come this persons parents just left them at home all that time? whos 'we' when they said 'we gave him a shot of penicillin'. i dont know any kids who are left alone for days at a time and have stashes of pencillin and administer it themselves to cats. its all sounds suss! [-( please elaborate on your story elfling so a few things are cleared up! im intrigued...

 

well...i am 45 and i wouldnt be able to give a shot of penicillin if my life depended on it...cant even give my horse a shot, and that is alot easier i think than a little kitty.

Elfling, I am so sorry your kitty passed away. :cry: My cat passed away on May 19th, so I understand all too well how you may be feeling right now. It's so hard to lose one of our fur animals. Hang in there. :cry:
