Hey I need to know if my gold fish Nemo is pregnant....How can you tell? I know that she has a huge belly and she is swimming kinda slow and staying near the bottom of the tank...Should I buy her, her own seperate cage? Please tell me what I need to do!!!

Also I have a male black and gold fish (goldfish) and I have an algie eater. Their tank isnt that big....What do I need to do? You can either reply to this message or aim me at Britofthefuture or email me at Crzyboutme1@aol.com :)

    Thanks Yall~

Goldfish can be difficalt at times to tell if they are pregnant or not. their abdomen will be a bit swolen. She will lay her eggs so yeah, get her a fish tank of her own. when doing this put the needed gravel in and plants (breeding grass) because she likes a safe place for the baby eggs to be laid in! when i was 7 my gold fish laid eggs on a rock. they at first looked like bubbles.

what size is your tank? what type of gold fish is it? what type of algae eater is it?

Yea, take a look at what onewolfsdream had said, but just to add a little bit :p it is virtually impossible to sex the goldfishes outside breeding season, when they're in the breeding season, check a look at their gills. there may be little white spots. Best of luck for your goldfish!

If you list the dimensions we will be able to tell how many gallons you have. List lenght x width x height.
