Fresh Water Clams??

    i saw some and i was wondering if they would be hard to take care of... or... anything...

    i ahve kept a few and they live a long time and actually help you by cleaning out some nitrates and nitrites (not all). one tip for you is not to keep them with aggresive cichlids, as they always found away to get into their shells and eat them. goodluck with them if you are going to purchase some.

    Just be sure if you buy them that they dont have any large chips in their shell otherwise they can be easily eaten by more aggressive fish.

    I've never seen freshwater clams in my LFS.
