Don't worry, I've never seen small plecos eat very much. They really can survive just eating algea around the tank. Why not try an algea tablet. It may take a few trys for the little guy to find it. My older plecos are the ones that munch on all kinds of foods.

    Take care

Yeah pleco's are extremely hardy fish. They will survive on the algae in the tank even if you don't see any. Also the algae tablets are very good to use because they expand quite large and the pleco will eventually find it. Although dropping the tablet in an area where the pleco sits will be better i.e. corners by the filter or aerator or next to any kind of submerged structure.

Woa, i still would have gotten it if it had fallen on the floor, i have never had my pleco jump out the water in the long time i have had it! look at its stomach, does it seem to be a bit chubby? also they are most active at night and leave the food in there it will slowly go away, mine eat a very little of vegies at a time because of all the algae they eat.
