What fish is this?

I recently bought this fish and am wondering what it is? They told me it probably was a goby or mudskipper. But i want to be sure...any ideas??

Mud skipper is a common name. There are several types of blennies which range from freshwater to brackish and marine. The blenny that you have pictured from the tank set up would appear to be freshwater. The dorsal fin structure looks more like the brackish or marine blennies. Here is a link you can start with for Fishbase.org. If you go to the fishbase home page you can enter by common names such as blenny, mudskipper or goby, but be ready there are a ton of them to look through.
