Those are some pretty fierce dogs that you have drawn! My Maddie looks like a cupcake compared to those. :) I'm sure that your drawn dogs would all have wonderful temperments though!!!

Yeah, all my dogs certainly have wonderful temperaments, otherwise they wouldn't be here. Do you have any pics of your dog-Maddie?

This is my sweet baby Maddie! She is finally coming out of her shell a little bit! She wags her tail sometimes and will now go up AND down stairs by herself- woo hoo! :y_the_best:

I am still looking for someone to adopt her. Amanda w/Pit Prints rescue sent me papers listing her breed as Boxer/Terrier Mix so I can at least keep her in my apt. Amanda @ Spencer Pits said she maybe could adopt her in three weeks. So I am hopeful.

Unlike the people on Montel today, I know that I cannot be a good owner for a Pit Bull. I am not dominant, I wouldn't be able to provide the training and structure needed to make sure she was a good dog. I also want a dog I can take to the dog park and let off the leash, I want my 9 y/o daughter to be able to take the dog on walks. I would NEVER trust a child walking a PB. What would she do if Maddie tried to attack another dog?? She'd drop her leash and run and cry! LOL. So, knowing all this, I do not beleive that we are a good match. It will be hard to give her up, but I'll make sure to only let her go to a good home. I couldn't bear to see her stay in the pound!! And I want what's best for me AND Maddie! I wish all dog owners were so willing to do right by their pets.

The pic didn't come up. I'm glad to hear you are giving a Pit a chance for a new life and fostering her. I hope she is able to find a good loving home. Your are certainly making the right choice as Pit Bulls are never recommended for dog parks or having a small child walk them unsupervised. Although they are fairly easy to train and don't require a dominant owner because they are submissive breed.
