I won't get her for a couple of weeks yet as she is still waiting for various tests to be performed and checked and we are going away for a few days next weeked so the SRC volunteer who is springing her will hold onto her until we get back. She's a big girl.....

Dora looks so adorable. She's nowhere near as big as Nern's grandma's cute Spunky. Dora will be in good hands.

    Nern, or is it Sparky?

I'm being told she really didn't have a name...her owner tended to refer to her as Fat Cat but it was more of a term rather than a name. Owner was very elderly so this cat probably was fed more table food than cat food - that'll be a joy cause I don't feed table food to cats.

She's beautiful, Mary. I hope she will find a wonderful forever home. As for the fact that she may beg for table scraps, ugh! I've trained all my kitties not to beg, by simply not giving them any table scraps. I take Romeo and Juilet with me to other people's houses all the time (they love new adventures). For some reason, Romeo is the first into any kitchen if someone is cooking. He acts as if he's saying, " Hi there. What are you cooking? It sure smells good. How about you just give me a little taste." I don't know where he learned this from. He doesn't do it too much at my house, because I think he realizes that he's not getting any. But, with other people it's a whole other story. It's kind of funny. Good luck with her, Mary. It's so kind of you to foster. :y_the_best:
