My cats weird. Arent cats supposed to be AFRAID of dogs?
There was a dog here the other day, and they were playign with eachother :? Kinda weird? and now she's pooping on the carpet downstairs, is it because she misses the dog?

She can't be sick just because she likes dogs....doesnt it mean she gets along with them...my mom said that...

I think Vene was saying that the fact that she is going to the bathroom on the carpet could be a sign of a health problem. Cats often develop behavioural problems like that when something is physically wrong. If she keeps it up, you need to get her to the vet for a check-up. The bathroom issue could be (and likely is) unrelated to the dog.

A lot of cats get along very well with dogs as long as neither animal is overly aggressive or territorial.

Hi. i have two springer spaniels and my siamese cat adores them!! they play with each other, cuddle each other and everything. i find in a way that its a lie dogs and cats dont get on, yes dogs do wind cats up some times and the other way round, but at the end of the day, they like each other!! and there could be all sorts of reasons why ur cat has pooed on ur floor. just try and train him by telling him NO in a firm voice. hope i helped!! luv xxpreciousxx

I would have a vet check out the cat. I would almost bet that the cat going to the bathroom on the ground has nothing to do with the dog. It may have been a coincidence that the cat started doing this after the dog left.

The only way to know that the cat is alright is to go to the vet. If you catch any problem early, it can save you a lot of trouble later.

(Also, I personally wouldn't yell at the cat for going on the floor. If it's something physically wrong, it's not the cats fault. It may be a way your cat is trying to tell you something's wrong - please get it checked out).

    Good luck!

I FOUND OUT WHY! she stopped pooping 1 day ago, AND GUESS WHAT?!
It was because the dog left :(
