WooHOO! He looks like my kitty. Best of luck tomorrow. I remember getting mine neutered and how mad at me he was for awhile. He's never had the chance to be with another cat. I always felt kinda guilty about that but it was best for his health.

Hmm... how come just because they get neutered, they still can't um..have sex? Do they lose their drives altogether? Men get vasectomies and can still do it (sorry.. just thinking out loud..)

Fingers crossed that everything goes well, I'm sure it will!

Unlike humans, cats mate for the sole purpose of reproducing....never for pleasure.

    whoo!

Raymond was not a happy camper this morning!I had to put him in the basement to keep him away from where he normally eats breakfast. Even though I had taken eveything up last night, it did not dissuade him from jumping up there and crying in anticipation for his nummies! I felt like a beast! Then the ultimate insult , putting him in that hated carrier! I wonder if he wil hold a grudge!

Poor Raymond! He'll be fine, I'm sure. I remember Moe snubbed me for a couple of days after her spaying. But she got over it.

raymond!!!!! good luck in your surgery today!!!!

he will be fine. max was ready to come home in like two hours. already awake from the anesthesia. he slept for a day and a half. then wanted to race around the house...jumping on stuff. it was hard to keep him calm.

i also think it took about a month after the neutering for him to calm down some. he is 98% less aggressive, even if it was play....he very rarely wants to grab my hand and hold on...or get overly rambunctious. of course he has mikey....but, overall...it helped alot i think.

    pretty kitty.. . orange... nice!

Poor boy.. i rememeber how unhappy Lex was with us when he had to get done. i'm sure Raymond will get on just fine.

It's a super simple procedure... i used to preform them. (just the males) females are more complicated.
