((ps more pics to come soon))

my hubby decided to test him last night.. we turned off the lights and he took out a pen light thing and shone it on either side of his face to see if he could see ANYTHING... even light.

Turns out he CAN! In his one eye (the larger socket of the 2)! He turned his head to follow it as he moved it from right to left. he didnt respond to the light on the smaller socket side...

So this proved he can sence light differencials.  :y_the_best:

((sorry if this double posts there was an error))

I'm so happy for you and Razberry! I guess this answers your "to stitch or not to stitch" dilemma.

That's wonderful news! You should try and contact the vet that said he was completely blind. Perhaps next time he/she will be more thorough in their testing.

perhaps, course he could have been too young to tell then too though. Now if theres any possible thing for him to grab or 'see' he's gonna go for it. Unlike when he was younger and just thought, eat, sleep, poo. ;)

i would love to think he's 'eyes' will keep developing as he gets older...and someday he may have partial real sight. but far as i know it's not possible.

But thank u all for sharing in our happiness! :)

Vet tomorrow... let's all pray he's a healthly blind little baby.
