Had to put locks on kitchen cabinets

I found my kitchen cabinet drawers open the other day and oat bran all over the floor. I thought I must have left it open and Kaylee got into it. The next morning same thing, but I was sure I had closed the drawer. Turns out she figured how to open the cabinets. So I installed child proof locks. Luckily she never got into the cleaning supplies under the sink.

 

my Tilly gets pleasure from getting into the little cabinets over my refrigerator - middle of the night I hear "bang bang" and I get to see her standing up there looking at me like I'm doing something wrong for catching her :0011:

My grandparents always used to kid me about my "stupid" cat because he was a mutt while their purebred Persian was SOOOO smart. When they dropped my off in MI for school me and my grandmother had left the apt while my grandpa waited for the cable guy.

Needless to say, my baby was already a little nervous from a 1200 mile trip in a car, so when the cable guy came in, he was scared.

My grandpa doesn't say he's stupid anymore though....brags about how smart he is to open the cabinet to hide and closed the door behind him!!

 

You guys have some very clever kitties.

I can vision oat bran all over the floor. It must have been a sight.

I saw on the news this morning about a tiger (I think it was a tiger) that found a way to open the door to his cage and got out and roamed around the zoo (I think it was a zoo. I didn't catch the whole story). They caught it on hidden video. It was pretty amazing.

Cats can be pretty smart.

 

my cats like to sleep in my kitchen cabinets but my dog... she figured out how to open the fridge... i had to put a child lock on it!!



I couldn't figure out where the leftovers were going, they were vanishing from the plates... then I caught her furry pawed one night!

Cats (and Dogs) are a lot smarter than most people give them credit for thats for sure...lol..

 

My cats stay in the kitchen cabinets a lot. I store pots and pans and such in there and always have to wash them again before I can use them. Hair gets all over them. :lol:
