Hi all, I received the following e-mail from a very good friend of mine who lives in Florida, I'm pretty sure that it will be legitimate because this friend is very reliable and cares greatly about our furry friends. I apologise if it's already been posted, I did look on the boards but couldn't find anything but I may have missed it. I hope it's OK to post it to you because it has a weblink (????) it is for a GOOD CAUSE though.



The Animal RescueSite is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.

It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "feed an animal in need" for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. (Weight Watchers is one of the sponsors!)

Here's the web site! Click on this link, and when the site opens, click on the purple box that says Feed an Animal for free. That's it! Please pass it along to people you know.

I am glad this is a sticky...I try to click on the site at least once time per week...I am going to try to do it atleast three times a week (and hopefully get up to everyday!)

 

Hi peeps, I've made it my Explorer home page so that whenever I go online it's there!! If you want to do that too and don't know how to do it follow these really easy instructions:


Go to Start and click on 'Settings'
open 'Control Panel'
Find 'Internet Options' and open it..............
the first thing you get is the oprion to change your homepage
just copy the www into the place provided and click apply!!

Simple as that

I just passed the link along to another forum I visit often and I'm sure will create more click throughs. A poor member there just found her kitty passed away on her doorstep and is having a really tough time dealing with it.

I'm also planning on buying all my christmas presents on their web shop Gear that gives! Instead of the usual last-minute-presents, I want to give presents that really matters

To my cat loving mother I will buy from the pet rescue site, suporting that cause. To my gramdmother who used to be an active member in Save the children (is it called that in english btw?), I'll buy from the childrens health site, and... eh, you probably get the idea...

Editing again... Just wanted to mention that they have some really nice stuff there. It's worth checking out
