New hamster

Hi everyone,

i went out today and i baught a Hamster. i dont really know anything about them. i live with parents, and we have three cats and i have three fish tanks tro[pical and cold water and my boyfriend has fish and has had gerbils in the past. so i nknow nothing.

I baught a cage. £30 several teirs, a wheel, feeding bowl drinking this, huse to sleep in, saw dust, cloth beding, and food. i was told they eat carrots. raw. i have a 8wk old femaleplease provide any info you can.
