I have seen some things in my life but never like what i saw on tv here in the uk.

In america when people have there male dogs castrated if they have the money they can get silicone testicles implanted so that the dog looks like it still has them..
Was very weird stuff what they going to think of next heheheh.
    THought i woiuld share.

I have heard of that. I can't imagine doing it. I actually prefer the look of a neutered male. They don't have that little package hanging down there. lol I can think of about a million other things I could get for my dog but plastic testicles. I don't think so. #-o

Not to sound like a feminist, but it sounds like something a man would think up.

After all, the dog has no clue that anything is missing, so a person would only do it for their benefit.

My male is neutered and he hasn't seemed traumatized looking for his b@lls and asking for faultsies.

I think its a waste of money.
I would not dream of getting my boys castrated and then having false ones put in.

I agree that the dogs do not notice they are gone and does not have any bad effects on the animal...

OMG!!! I think its atypical male thing. Granvel is the type of person that thinks spaying the females is good, but don't you dare think about neutering the males!! of course he has not choice in the matter, but he thinks is just down right cruel!!! eh hehel.....Do you think it was first used on humans to compensate for something??? LOL

  8. Mike, My husband would kill me if he knew I was telling you all this, BUT I CAN'T HELP MYSELF!! Many years ago my husband had cancer in one of his testie's, A very agressive cancer so he had to have it removed. The docter put a fake one in it's place. The funny part is: in the prep room with nusers, doctors, and tons of people, David asks the Doc if he could have the NFL size! I thought I was going to die! Everybody laughed except the Doctor....(Hubby is doing well, no sign of cancer in 18 yrs.)

    Just had to share,,,,,,Susan

Susan so glad your hubby has made a full recovery.
I must admit if i had to have mine removed i would want false ones put in its place but thats me, I would not want to do that to my dogs though..

I have to say i think a dog is actually happier when he had the chop since he dont have those things getting int the way swinging about when he walks heheheheh

Oh sure, a HUMAN man would want the implant, and I can understand that. But a dog?? LOL.

My agility trainer was judging Nationals one year and she said the male Basset Hounds have quite a problem. Their male parts tend to knock down the bars on the jumps...

    ](*,) Say WHAT???!!!
Just when I thought I've heard everything!!!
Who in the name of God would think of that???
Rather than spending tons (I'm sure) of money on idiotically useless surgeries, how about donating this money, if their pockets are so itchy they absolutely need to scratch them, for a very needed surgery on one of the thousands of dogs in the shelters???

LOL that is too funny, i think it would be something a male with lots of spare time would invent. Probally with the thinkinh, if this happened to me i would...

    LOL!

What will they think of next? Breast implants for females who's owners like that full of milk look. How about hair plugs for hairless breeds. I can see that comercial. They could have a dog with lots of hair saying "I'm not just the Pesident, I'm also a client." Lol

I have heard of the teste implants, I thought it was crazy. Someone asked me if I would get it done to Luther when I had him castrated. I thought hmm, I am out of work and I have no money, I have to go to the Spayshuttle (reduced rate spaying trailer from Angels of Assisi) no I don't think I will, but mybae if he misses that much I'll put a bag with marbles in it back there.
Susan I am glad your hubby is ok!
