Anyone in the US Have a Pet Carrier They Can Spare?

If anyone in the US has a spare pet carrier that you can spare, I sure could use it. I'd of course pay the shipping. I need one very badly and they're just too pricey to buy brand new. I'm tired of bringing Booger to the Vet in a cardboard box.

pet carriers are only $15 - $17 around here. that's probably how much you'd have to pay for shipping and handling. you could always look on
e-bay, pet-smart.com, or other online pet stores.

at my vet, they have cardboard pet-carriers they'll give you. (i know you said you don't like the cardboard box thing but this is more like a pet carrier, it has handles, and air holes and it says "i love my pet" on the side.) i could probably pick you up one of those if you want?

I'm talking about a solid/real pet carrier, not a cardboard box. I've checked in all the local stores and they're retailing for $30 and+

I was just hoping that perhaps someone here had one that they don't need. Shipping for one would be no more than about $10 (probably lower because they're not heavy).

And after years of experience on ebay...ROFL Not a chance!

    haha well j/c.

but solid-real pet carriers around here only cost between $10 and $17.

well! thought I would reply anyway. it was worth a shot. :D
and it made me feel semi-helpful!

You may be right where you are, but not here. When I brought Booger into the vet's office in a cardboard box with air holes cut in, I totally expected them to send her home in a 'better box'. But it didn't happen.

If I don't get a response to this thread, I'll still manage to get Booget to the Vet using what ever means I need. I was just hoping.

 if i had one i would let u have it... but i only have one that brand new and then a dog crate and a fabric one thats falling apart and w/ all the hurricanes around here....but have u tried any animal shelters?? the ones around here get them donated to them and when i got mine i only paid $5 4 it for a donation but they didnt even ask for any $$ when i went and picked itup i just gave them what i had in my pocket.... or do like my sister in law did she took a duffel bag the one w/ the cardboard in the bottem and stands up when u sit it down not the ones that fall over and cut 2 squares in the sides and then sewed screen on the inside of the squares and it looks like the ones u buy from the pet stores...

If you can afford it, (around $30 new at Walmart), Nyla Bone makes the best carriers in my opinion. They're collapsible for convenient storage, and they open from the top as well as the sides. This makes it extremely easy to lift your kitty in and out. I bought one a couple of years ago and it was honestly one of the best investments I ever made for making trips to the vet easier. The one I got was "Small 21" x 16" x 15" (for Pets up to 20 lbs.)"

I do have one you can have....I had 2 donated to me for Siamese Rescue and now I have 5 carriers!!!! But....let me check out what shipping will be first cause I know WalMart has medium size carriers for cheap $$. I just had to buy a larger size one to get Dora (chubby) home in and it was $30 so smaller ones are probably 1/2 that. Shipping, I'm guess is going to be around $10 and that's w/out insurance to cover any possible damages. I'll let you know tomorrow what shipping will be. What is your zip code
