Im sooooo happy! I just checked my convict tank and there were like 30 eggs. 2 of them are pink. Why are they pink? Also how do you feed the fry?

Are the others white? The pink ones should be fertile.

That's awesome! I am jealous lol, I been trying for some time now but this time she either failed to lay the eggs (is that possible?) or they just didn't get fertilized.

The rest are brown. Are they meant to be brown?

Generally, fertilized eggs should be tan, yellow, or pinkish. Unfertilized ones will be white.

All the brown ones started to hatch. The pink ones arnt hatching. I think theyre unfertile. how long does it take for them to hatch?

Mine are now free swimming. Convicts are great parents. How do i feed the fry? Im currently using flakes which have been made into powder. Not sure if theyre actually eating it though...
