MORE Q's on piranha's READ PLEASE!! re: CLOUDY TANK

ok well thank u and the last one well we have a carbon filter in there and there are other cemilcals in there from before we put the fish in to take out the clorien and stuff so now that i know why its clowdy how do i get rid of it

best wya to get rid of cloudyness is to have a wterchange.....change that amount you normally would, which should be about 25-30% of the water.

 

ok but i have a huge filter system so how offten do i have to change the water if its always being filtered. and i think i fould out why it was starting to smell (lol) a baby gold fish got sucked up tbe toob, my bf isnt doing a very good watch on the tank we now have a grate over the end of the toob so no more fishies get sucked up. its less cloudy now though so i thank u all for your advice but i asked a questoina while and im still questoining it so if u could let me know that would be great

actually, fish kind of sleep.....they mreo of jsut sit there and rest, but they dont sleep the way msot anmimals do......tehy jsut get inactive and sit there...usually when you move by the tanks or turn on the lights it will startle them out of the sleep.....and even with a good filter, you msut change about 25% of the water aobut once a week otherwise the fish will be swimming in their own filth and it also helps lower smells and algae blooms.

cuz ya my fishies will just sorta lie on eachother next to the tub that sucks up the water and they wont move its like they dont need to, lol cool so they sleep/ rest. ok well cool thanks lol

 

yea, no problem...back when i had a few RBP's they hung around that siphon drop-down thing too....they would rest about 1/2" apart from eachother.
