Mitaban may be causing problems for puppy???

I just found out that my puppy (6 month old Jack Russell) has demodectic (red) mange. The vet dipped her in mitaban yesterday. Since then, she has not been herself. I know the warning labels said she would be sedated for 2 to 3 days, but I am worried about her. She is a very lively puppy, but since her dip, she has not played at all. She walks like she is stiff, she eats all the time and drinks water all the time. She has only used the bathroom #1 since she was dipped and she looks bloated. She has just been laying looking out the front door doing nothing. If anyone else has had a dog to have mitaban dips and they have had a similar experience, I would LOVE to know it so that I can stop worrying, or if anyone has any advice I'd LOVE to hear it!!!!!!! Thanks!

Is she regurgitating...if she starts throwing up take her in ASAP as it could be bloat....

Mitaban might be the cause but I've not had to deal with Demo ever so...I can't help there...I'm sure others will jump in though....

Bumping this up. Sams, do you know the answer? Anyone?

How is the pup doing now? Please call the vet with any concerns.

Any updates for that matter? She still bloated and constipated...??? Throwing up is a sure sign of bloat if she's already got a big belly. My dogs get bloated looking from over doing the water...boredom I think because when they have something to do they don't head for the water bowl... Weird African dogs... Anyway the bloating tummy may not be a case of "bloat" but could be caused by lack of water or being constipated from the mitaban...not ever heard of that happening but I've never delt with it before...

Sam probably can give you some info.

She is doing fine now. We called the vet first thing Monday morning and they said everything she had was normal for the Mitaban. Worried me to death though. She is laying on the back of the couch now, tired out from playing with her kitties all day long. They do have to dip her 2 more times though, so I am not looking forward to that!!!!! Thanks for your concern!

SOundslike normal reactions to it. I 've had a few rescues with mange, and each one has reacted diffrently. She may have just injested a small amount of it causing a tummy ache. That in turn caused the bloating and excessive drinking.....
