How big is your tank, and how many fish are you thinking about adding? Piranhas are social fish, but if there are too many fish in too small a tank, they will indeed kill each other.

Just a guess that is prolly around 35-40 gallons which isn't large enough for piranahs. If someone could verify the size for me I can offer some help and info.

yah i just recently bought pirhanas.. two babies.. i love them

they're about 1.5 inch in length each.. and they have a 30 gallon all to themselves... which plan on upgrading for when they get bigger. but for now they have shit loads of room and made their first kill last night. on an old zebra fish.. it was crazy to watch....

they thrash like crazy when they get it in their mouths.

    mmm
    i love it!

I don't think it is wise to have baby piranhas in the same aquarium as adult piranhas. It is usually better if they are around the same length. You might want to move the baby piranhas in a different aquarium.

I wouldn't be surprised if your smaller fish have either gotten eaten or have damaged fins/body parts from your larger piranha. If not youre very lucky... I would remove them immediately and start a new tank, feeding them more than the big guy will give them a little time to catch up...

just to forewarn... you are most likely going to have problems in the future... 3 piranha need around 125 gallons (at least) for them to live in full grown and even then, if one gets injured a lot of the times they are taken down fairly rapidly... Keep feeding them constantly and you might have a chance... but I doubt it... sorry for the pesimissom but I've heard of piranhas just turning on eachother for no apparent reason
